We provide best-in-class geospatial and information technology solutions to commercial and government customers, with a focus on Digital Twin and Indoor Mapping services.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing & Content Assistant to support our marketing and business development efforts. This is a multi-disciplinary role — the right candidate will be comfortable moving between writing, design, research, and social media campaign development and execution. The role primarily focuses on content creation, social media, graphic design, and marketing collateral, with the opportunity to grow into proposal support (review, formatting, outline development, etc.). The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, self-starter, and quick learner who can work independently in a remote environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation & Writing

  • Write, edit, and proofread social media content, blog posts, newsletters, and email campaigns
  • Develop content for multi-sector campaigns including but not limited to aviation, healthcare, commercial real estate, education and government
  • Create press releases, case studies, and white papers
  • Adapt technical GIS concepts into accessible, engaging content
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and messaging standards

Social Media Management

  • Write, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Bluesky, and Esri Community
  • Develop content ideas and present them for review and approval before publishing
  • Manage and maintain the content calendar to ensure consistent posting cadence
  • Monitor engagement metrics and provide basic performance reports
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and relevant news to inform content

Graphic Design & Visual Content

  • Create social media graphics, email graphics, and visual assets for blog and content marketing
  • Design one-pagers, capability statements, and marketing collateral as needed
  • Design conference booth graphics, trade show materials, flyers, and banners
  • Create and maintain branded templates for recurring design needs
  • Ensure brand consistency across all visual materials
  • Video editing experience is a plus — not required but welcomed

Presentation Development

  • Design and develop sales decks for client-facing presentations
  • Create conference and event presentation materials
  • Develop reusable presentation templates
  • Translate complex technical content into clear, visually compelling slides

Newsletter & Email Marketing

  • Draft and manage monthly newsletter campaigns
  • Assist with email list management, segmentation, and verification
  • Track and report on email campaign performance
  • Support email outreach efforts using platforms such as Instantly and Kit

Research & Competitive Intelligence

  • Track industry trends and surface relevant content and insights for the team
  • Compile market intelligence reports as needed

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES (AS ROLE DEVELOPS)

Proposal Support

  • Assist with formatting and proofreading proposal documents
  • Write and adapt content sections using existing templates and past submissions
  • Support proposal tracking and deadline coordination

Note: Proposal responsibilities will be introduced gradually as the candidate becomes familiar with services and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, graphic design, or a related field
  • Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience managing professional social media accounts
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools — Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent
  • Experience designing presentations (PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides)
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and campaigns
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Portfolio demonstrating graphic design and marketing collateral work required
  • Writing samples required with application

Preferred

  • Familiarity with GIS, geospatial technology, or technical B2B industries (willingness to learn is sufficient)
  • Experience with SEO and content optimization
  • Video editing capabilities (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, or similar)
  • Exposure to proposal writing or government contracting content
  • Experience with analytics platforms (Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insights, etc.)

TOOLS & PLATFORMS

Candidates should be familiar with or willing to learn the following tools:

  • Design: Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva Pro
  • Video Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent (preferred, not required)
  • Presentations: Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote
  • Email Marketing: Instantly, Kit
  • Social Media: LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Bluesky
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, native social media insights
