About the Role
We’re a small company seeking a part-time to full-time hands-on Business Manager to independently manage our daily operations. This role requires someone who is highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working autonomously to keep our business running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of daily operations including scheduling, office management, inventory tracking, and supplier coordination while maintaining organized systems and documentation.
- Handle administrative tasks including answering phones, responding to emails, processing mail, maintaining filing systems, and managing office supplies to ensure smooth business operations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, maintain financial records, track expenses, and coordinate with external accountants while ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all transactions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and service providers while maintaining professional relationships and resolving any operational issues that arise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of experience in business operations or office management
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with bookkeeping and basic financial management
Required Skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management abilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Problem-solving and independent decision-making capabilities
